Flight Partners Management LLC

Flight Partners Management LLC is the Houston-based single family office of Jeff Smisek, whose fortune stems from a career atop the U.S. airline industry. A graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School, Smisek rose through the ranks at Houston-based Continental Airlines, where he had worked since 1995, becoming its chief executive in January 2010. Five months later he became CEO of United after the merger of United and Continental, a company that combined Continental's European and Latin American network with United's domestic and Asian routes. He resigned suddenly in September 2015 amid a federal corruption investigation. The office manages Smisek's private capital, estimated by a third party at roughly $100 million.
