Open-source intelligence (OSINT)

Wealthmetrica's profiles are built using open-source intelligence — the practice of collecting, cross-referencing, and structuring information that is already publicly available. We do not rely on any single provider. Instead, each profile is assembled from a range of open sources and reconciled so that the picture we present is consistent and, wherever possible, corroborated by more than one source.

The kinds of sources we use

Depending on the entity, our public and open sources include:

• Public regulatory filings (for example, SEC records for registered investment advisers).
• Company websites and official disclosures.
• Reputable press and financial news reporting, and public reference material.
• Other publicly accessible web information about an organization, its people, and its activity.

Because these are open sources, the exact combination varies by entity, and we cite them collectively rather than naming a single source on every page.

Registered firms vs. private entities

For SEC-registered investment advisers, headline figures such as assets under management and account counts are drawn from regulatory filings (Form ADV). Private entities — most notably single family offices — file no such public disclosures. For those, any assets-under- management figure is a third-party estimate compiled from public sources, clearly labelled as an estimate, and provided for informational purposes only.

Accuracy, updates & corrections

Public information changes over time, and estimates are inherently approximate. We update profiles as sources are refreshed. Nothing here is investment, legal, or financial advice, and figures should not be relied upon as definitive.
