About Excession LLC
Excession LLC is the single family office of Elon Musk, established in 2016 as a Texas-domiciled limited liability company to manage his personal and financial affairs. The name is drawn from an Iain M. Banks science-fiction novel. It has been run since inception by managing director Jared Birchall, previously of Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley, who is also CEO of Neuralink.
