De Eik NV is the investment company of Belgium's Van Waeyenberge family, based in Dilbeek, near Brussels. It was founded in 1971 by the Van Waeyenberge family, which acquired its initial capital through the trading company Ecoval, a business that began trading in raw materials from the food industries in 1950 and grew into a leading international player in raw materials for the dairy sector. The office is named after Eikestraat (Oak Street) in Steenhuize-Wijnhuize, where founder Camille Van Waeyenberge had his roots.
