About Schooner Capital
Schooner Capital is a Boston-based single family office founded in 1971 by Vincent "Vin" Ryan as a vehicle to invest his personal capital, with no outside investors — only Ryan and members of his family as shareholders. The wealth traces to Iron Mountain, the global records-management company that Ryan purchased and grew from a single storage site and where he served as a director from 1971 to 2017.
