About Rattner Family Office
The Rattner Family Office is a New York–based principal investment firm founded in 2009 by Steven Rattner. It invests across a range of alternative and traditional asset classes. The office draws on Rattner's wealth from a long finance career: he began as a journalist at The New York Times before moving into investment banking at Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley and Lazard Frères, then co-founded the private equity firm Quadrangle Group. He later served in the Obama administration, leading the restructuring of the U.S. automobile industry after the financial crisis.
