About Hb Capital
HB Capital is the investment vehicle of the Netherlands' Blokker family, based in Laren with a further office in Antwerp. The family built its fortune through Blokker Holding, a retail group whose chains—including Blokker, Xenos, Casa and Maxi Toys—once spanned close to 3,000 European stores; the family sold the Blokker chain to its then chief executive Michiel Witteveen, having earlier divested other banners.
