About Bollinger Enterprises
Bollinger Enterprises is the single family office of the Bollinger family of New Orleans, United States, whose wealth derives from Bollinger Shipyards. Donald G. Bollinger founded the shipbuilder in 1946 as Bollinger Machine Shop & Shipyard, serving as its chairman until 1985, when his son Boysie took over. Now under its third generation of family ownership, it is the largest privately owned and operated shipbuilder in the United States. The firm designs and builds offshore supply vessels, oceangoing barges, tugs, rigs, liftboats and inland pushboats, as well as fast military patrol boats and Coast Guard cutters, and ranks among the Gulf's largest vessel-repair operations.
