Walton Enterprises LLC

Walton Enterprises LLC is the investment holding company that serves as the family office of the Walton family, the founders of Walmart and the wealthiest family in the world. It traces to 1953, when Sam Walton organized his business as a family partnership; the structure was later reorganized as an LLC headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas, adjacent to Walmart's corporate offices, with additional presences in Washington, D.C., Denver, and Jersey City.

The office is notably private and does not run a public deal program. Its dedicated investment arm, WIT LLC (the Walton Investment Team), commenced operations in 2020, while the family's core holding remains its large stake in Walmart. A broad set of sister entities and foundations operate alongside it — including the Walton Family Foundation and the Walton Family Holdings Trust — and in December 2024 the senior generation's managing-member interests were transferred into new irrevocable trusts as part of a generational handoff. Several family members also run their own separate vehicles, such as Zoma Capital and Builders Vision.
