Rumah Group

Rumah Group is the Singapore-based single family office of businessman-philanthropist Stanley Tan and his family, established in 2002. Rumah Group is a single-family office based in Singapore and serves as the private investment vehicle for Stanley Tan's family. The family's wealth stems from real estate: Tan has more than three decades of real estate investment experience across Singapore, New Zealand and Australia, spanning townships, commercial, retail, industrial and residential developments, and he heads property firm Sedar Properties. Rumah Group's portfolio includes equities, real estate and impact investments with an environmental focus, and the group is led by directors Stanley Tan, his daughter Kathlyn Tan, and her husband Thomas Riber Knudsen. Its estimated assets under management are put at roughly $100M by a third-party estimate. Alongside investing, the office runs Rumah Foundation, whose ocean portfolio backs marine-ecosystem protection and alternative-seafood work in Southeast Asia.
