Wealthmetrica API for Investor Data Integration
Build Wealthmetrica's investor intelligence directly into your applications, dashboards, and workflows. Our RESTful API gives you programmatic access to firm profiles, contact data, investment holdings, and search capabilities — the same data that powers the Wealthmetrica platform, delivered in structured JSON format.
API Overview
The Wealthmetrica API provides read access to our full database of investment firms, contacts, and holdings through standard RESTful endpoints. Authenticate with API keys, make HTTP requests, and receive structured JSON responses. The API supports pagination, field selection, and filtering parameters so you can request exactly the data you need without over-fetching.
Whether you're building an internal research dashboard, enriching your CRM records, feeding data into a marketing automation platform, or powering a client-facing application, the API gives you the flexibility to consume Wealthmetrica data however it fits your technology stack. We support standard HTTP libraries in any programming language — Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Go, or any language that can make HTTP requests.
Available Endpoints
The API is organized around three core resource types. The Firms endpoint lets you search, filter, and retrieve detailed profiles on 43,000+ investment firms including AUM, registration details, custodial relationships, and investment strategies. The Contacts endpoint provides access to 640,000+ investment professional profiles with verified email addresses and organizational data. The Holdings endpoint surfaces quarterly 13F filing data and allocation breakdowns.
Each endpoint supports query parameters for filtering by location, AUM range, firm type, title, and other relevant criteria. Bulk export endpoints are available for retrieving large datasets efficiently. All responses follow consistent JSON schemas with clear field names and documentation.
Integration Patterns
The most common integration pattern is CRM enrichment. Teams use the API to automatically update Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics records with the latest firm and contact data from Wealthmetrica. When a new lead enters your CRM, a webhook can trigger an API call to pull the associated firm profile and populate custom fields with AUM, custodian, investment strategy, and key personnel details.
Other popular patterns include building custom dashboards with real-time firm search, powering lead scoring models with firmographic data, automating territory assignment based on advisor geography and AUM, and feeding holdings data into portfolio analytics tools. The API's standard REST design means it works with integration platforms like Zapier, Make, and custom middleware.
Rate Limits, Authentication, and Support
API access is available on Enterprise plans. Authentication uses API keys passed via HTTP headers — no OAuth flows or complex authentication required. Rate limits are set based on your plan tier to ensure reliable performance, and we provide clear rate limit headers in every response so you can implement backoff logic as needed.
Comprehensive API documentation includes endpoint references, request and response examples, code samples in Python and JavaScript, and a Postman collection for quick testing. Enterprise API customers receive dedicated onboarding support, a shared Slack channel for technical questions, and priority access to new endpoints and features as they are released.
